New York Islanders Current Team

A young team on the rise, the New York Islanders are led by NHL All-Star John Tavares. Tavares, the team's captain, is one of a number of dynamic and dangerous players up front for the Isles, who also boast significant offensive firepower in the form of Kyle Okposo, Brock Nelson, and Ryan Strome. Add in defensemen Johnny Boychuck and Nick Leddy, both additions during the 2014 off-season, as well as standout goaltender Jaroslav Halak, and the Islanders have the makings of a contender for years to come.
